About Me

My name is Debbie Allison.  Ah! Your Veda was so named for those "ah ha" moments, when something just makes sense.  It's when you finally get it, the light bulb goes on, and you claim it as your truth.  I've had a life-long interest in discovering the effects of diet and lifestyle on a person's health, and along the way, my journey led me to discover Ayurveda.

I am a trained Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist as well as an Ayurvedic Health Practitioner.  I see clients in Lenexa, KS and the greater Kansas City, Missouri area and outlying communities.  I also provide appointments by phone and skype for those who can't make it to our office.

My heartfelt compassion and desire to help others with their health has contributed hugely to my many years of training.  Areas of treatment include include diet, exercise, lifestyle management, aromatherapy, body therapy, marma therapy, dough basti, asana (yoga), pranayama, and meditation.

In addition to working on disease prevention, I work with people, in conjuncture with their licensed physician, to help alleviate disease conditions such as high blood pressure (hypertension), thyroid issues, weight concerns (over or under), insulin resistance, diabetes management, stress-reduction, etc.

My training includes certifications in the following areas:

  • Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist
  • Ayurvedic Health Practitioner
